Job summary

The American Cancer Society in Charleston, SC is seeking a friendly Concierge to serve as the first point of contact for guests, manage front desk operations, and ensure a welcoming, safe, and supportive environment. The role offers a pay rate of $19.50 per hour with a 15% weekend differential, a weekend schedule (Saturday-Sunday) from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, and full benefits eligibility.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; additional education in hospitality/customer service is a plus.
• Previous experience in hospitality, guest services, or related field is preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of Customer Service experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and manage check-in and check-out procedures (30%).
• Provide information about lodge amenities and community resources (20%).
• Coordinate transportation and EMPOWER Program services and schedules (15%).
• Respond to guest requests, concerns, and emergencies (15%).
• Maintain organized front desk area and accurate guest records (10%).
• Monitor lobby security and implement safety protocols (10%).
