Nox Metals is seeking a Factory Technician for weekend 1st shift in Ferndale, MI. You will operate industrial saws, bandsaws, CNC equipment, and material handling systems to load, measure, cut, and inspect aluminum parts to spec.

Safety, precision, and teamwork are essential as you handle inbound/outbound shipments, verify data, and keep production moving on a high-demand weekend schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience in a factory, metals service center, or skilled trades.
• Committed to safety with PPE and protocols.
• High attention to quality for every cut, cert, and shipment.
• Willing to think about process improvements and efficiency.
• Customer-focused with adherence to delivery timelines.
• Team player with positive attitude and ownership of shift responsibilities.
• Able to work weekends and maintain reliability on the floor.
• Comfortable using software to track data and production.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and operating heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial saws, bandsaws, CNC equipment, and material handling systems.
• Load, measure, cut, and inspect aluminum plate, bar, and rounds to spec.
• Run forklifts and overhead cranes.
• Follow cut lists and production schedules with precision.
• Receive inbound material and verify against purchase orders.
• Package, label, and stage outbound shipments.
• Record cut data and job completions in our software systems.
