Job summary

Nox Metals in Ferndale, MI seeks a Factory Shift Lead for the 2nd shift (Mon-Thu, 5:30PM–4:00AM). You will own the night shift, run the floor, and ensure a clean handoff to day shift while maintaining safety and quality across aluminum plate, bar, and rounds.

You will operate bandsaws, CNCs, forklifts, cranes, and track data in our software. Strong leadership, safety discipline, and comfort with digital systems are essential; prior supervisory manufacturing experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in a factory, metals service center, or skilled trades.
• Strong safety mindset and adherence to PPE protocols.
• Proven ability to lead night shift teams and hand off to day shift.

Responsibilities

• Lead the night shift and set the pace to meet production goals.
• Take a clean handoff from evening shift and prepare floor for day shift.
• Operate industrial saws, bandsaws, CNC equipment, forklifts, and cranes.
• Record data and track production against schedules in software.
