Job summary

Nox Metals in Detroit, MI is seeking a detail‑oriented Material Handler to support metal processing operations on site. You will operate a forklift, receive inbound material, verify POs, and stage shipments while maintaining strict safety and cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities include recording movements in our software, packaging goods for outbound shipments, and learning bandsaw and other floor operations as you grow with the team.

Qualifications

• OSHA training or willingness to complete training.
• Forklift experience or willingness to get certified.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for a full shift.

Responsibilities

• Follow all OSHA and site safety protocols without exception, and hold teammates to the same standard.
• Operate a forklift to receive, stage, and move aluminum plate, bar, and rounds throughout the facility.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Receive inbound material and verify against purchase orders.
• Package, label, and stage outbound shipments.
• Keep the floor clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Record material movements accurately in our software systems.
• Learn baseline operations of the bandsaw and other metals equipment as you grow in the role.
