Nox Metals is seeking a Factory Technician for weekend 1st shift in Ferndale, MI. You will operate industrial saws, bandsaws, CNC equipment, and material handling systems to load, measure, cut, and inspect aluminum parts to spec.

Safety, precision, and teamwork are essential as you handle inbound/outbound shipments, verify data, and keep production moving on a high-demand weekend schedule.

Factory Technician, Weekend 1st Shift | Nox Metals | Ferndale, MI

Nox Metals is a technology company in Detroit supplying metal. We use software and automation to supply metal to American factories faster than the industry thought possible.

Shift hours:

Friday - Sunday, 7AM to 7PM

You will:

• Operate industrial saws, bandsaws, CNC equipment, and material handling systems
• Load, measure, cut, and inspect aluminum plate, bar, and rounds to spec
• Run forklifts and overhead cranes
• Follow cut lists and production schedules with precision
• Take a clean handoff from the weekday team and leave the floor ready for Monday
• Receive inbound material and verify against purchase orders
• Package, label, and stage outbound shipments
• Record cut data and job completions in our software systems, accurately, every time
• Always ask questions, never guess when something is unclear
• Look at every process and figure out how to make it better
• Keep the floor clean, organized, and ready for the next job
• Work safely every shift and hold your teammates to the same standard

You are:

• Knowledgeable or experienced in a factory, metals service center, bandsaws, industrial saws, CNC equipment, or skilled trades
• Committed to safety, you follow every protocol, wear your PPE, and never cut corners that put people at risk
• High attention to quality, every cut, every cert, every shipment
• Always thinking about how to make processes better, you do not accept "this is how we have always done it"
