Job summary

VulcanForms is seeking a Facilities Technician for weekend night shifts to support a 24/7 manufacturing facility. You will maintain CNC equipment, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and assist with shipping/receiving as needed.

The role requires hands-on maintenance experience, ability to read blueprints, and strict adherence to safety protocols including Lockout/Tagout. This onsite position offers a competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in CNC equipment maintenance and repair.
Strong working knowledge of electrical schematics, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Familiarity with OSHA Lockout/Tagout procedures and general machine safety protocols.
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals and blueprints.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with maintenance planners and manufacturing to build a weekly proactive maintenance schedule.
Troubleshoot and repair CNC equipment by disassembling, inspecting, and reassembling components.
Install, overhaul, and maintain electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems on equipment.
Interpret technical documentation such as blueprints and wiring diagrams to guide repairs.
Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance to reduce unplanned downtime.
Diagnose root causes of malfunctions and perform corrective actions.
Safely dismantle machinery to replace worn components and ensure proper reassembly.
Operate hand and power tools for electrical, mechanical, and metalworking tasks.
Assist in shipping/receiving duties as needed.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior maintenance staff.
Comply with OSHA safety standards and lockout/tagout policies.
