Job summary

Olney Theatre Center is seeking a dependable, hands-on Facilities Assistant to support weekend maintenance, cleanliness, safety, and operation of our campus and performance facilities.

The Facilities Assistant will work closely with the General Management team to help ensure that buildings, public spaces, offices, backstage areas, and outdoor areas are clean, safe, functional, and ready for staff, artists, audiences, and community members.

Qualifications

• Weekend availability, including evenings.
• Part-time role with roughly 16–20 hours per week, schedule may vary with performances and events.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team in a busy campus environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and safety of buildings, public spaces, offices, backstage areas, and outdoor areas.
• Support weekend maintenance, operation, and general facility upkeep to keep spaces ready for staff, artists, audiences, and community members.
