Job summary

Douglas Dynamics, LLC is seeking a Fabrication Team Lead for the weekend shift to coordinate and optimize fabrication operations. You will train and lead shop floor associates, uphold Lean and 5S practices, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time production across the weekend cell.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic lean concepts (DDMS); at least one year in the organization.
• Previous leadership experience in manufacturing or similar.
• Ability to train others and perform root-cause analysis.
• Strong written and oral communication; basic math skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate Fabrication unit operations on the weekend shift.
• Support TPM records and uphold 5S standards and quality.
• Train, coach, and audit Shop Floor Associates to standard work.
• Ensure safety, quality, and schedule attainment across the cell.
• Communicate effectively across shifts and lead by example.
• Respond to production issues and adjust priorities as needed.
