Job summary

Douglas Dynamics, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead our facility maintenance team on the shop floor.

You will support daily production, implement predictive and preventive maintenance, and drive reliability across fabrication equipment and facility systems. The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, supervisory experience, and the ability to coordinate with Manufacturing and Engineering to resolve issues quickly.

Qualifications

• Associates or two-year technical degree required; bachelor’s preferred.
• Experience managing employees in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead facility maintenance team to support daily production and development.
• Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and budget adherence.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues with Manufacturing/Engineering teams.
• Read and interpret manuals, wiring diagrams, and drawings.
• Coach and mentor staff to improve performance and safety.
