Job summary

Douglas Dynamics, LLC is seeking Fabrication Operators to join our team. You will perform machine operations, material handling, and quality checks in the Fabrication department, collaborating with team leads on safety and delivery goals.

You will gain exposure to laser cutting, bending, finishing equipment, and 5‑S practices. The role supports long-term growth with a focus on reliability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to read blueprints and specifications.
• Ability to read calipers, micrometers, and protractors.
• Computer literacy required.

Responsibilities

• Operate lasers (CO2 and fiber), press brakes, and finishing equipment to cut, bend, and finish metal parts per specifications.
• Set up and operate assigned equipment and correct problems as they occur.
• Run test cycles and perform quality audits to maintain accuracy.
• Maintain safety, quality, and throughput; timely equipment upkeep.
• Track production data daily and communicate with other departments.
• Keep work area, tools, materials, and equipment clean and orderly.
• Operate all Fab equipment after training; perform other duties as assigned.
