Job summary

Desert Botanical Garden is hiring for a Seasonal Event Logistics Assistant. You will help ensure successful events, workshops, and rentals by setting up and supporting spaces, equipment, and staff.

The role requires weekend work (Fri–Sun) and occasional evenings/holidays, with pay at $18.00/hr. Responsibilities include setup/breakdown, AV support, and assisting with deliveries and grounds tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Must work during weekends (Friday–Sunday) and occasional evenings/holidays.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to operate a motorized cart.
• Must possess exemplary customer service and strong communication skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and work outdoors in varied conditions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure event spaces are clean before, during, and after events.
• Set up/break down tables, chairs, and equipment per schedule.
• Operate audio/visual gear and assist with IT equipment as needed.
• Assist Beverage and Exhibits departments with setup and teardown.
• Provide excellent service to staff, guests, and vendors.
