Job summary

Desert Botanical Garden is seeking a part-time Event Logistics staff member for the evening and weekend shifts to support events, facility rentals, workshops, meetings, and classes. You will set up and break down spaces, operate AV equipment, assist with bar setups, move furniture with a motorized cart, and provide courteous service to staff, guests, and vendors while maintaining safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Arizona driver’s license and be able to operate a motorized cart.
• Must be 18+ to transport alcohol.
• Excellent communication, time management, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down event spaces with tables, chairs, equipment, and displays.
• Assist Beverage Department with bar setups and supplies.
• Operate audio/visual equipment and handle minor troubleshooting.
• Move equipment using a motorized cart and follow safety standards.
• Provide exemplary customer service to staff, guests, and vendors.
• Lead long-term projects while balancing daily setup tasks.
