Job summary

Desert Botanical Garden is seeking a Seasonal Event Logistics Assistant to support events, facility rentals, workshops, meetings, and classes by setting up and assisting across departments. You will clean venues, set up tables and AV gear, assist Beverage and Exhibits staff, operate a motorized cart, and provide excellent customer service to staff, volunteers, guests, and vendors.

Must work weekends, have a valid driver’s license, lift up to 75 pounds, and be comfortable outdoors in various

Qualifications

Must work weekends (Fri–Sun) and may include evenings/holidays.
Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a motorized cart.
Must be 18+ to transport alcohol.
Excellent communication and time management.
Exemplary customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Clean and prep event spaces before, during, and after events.
Set up and break down tables, chairs, and equipment per schedule; handle safely.
Set up and operate audio/visual equipment; perform minor troubleshooting.
Assist Beverage staff with bar setups and breakdowns; manage trash and supplies.
Assist Exhibits staff with installation and maintenance of displays.
Move equipment and supplies using motorized carts and vehicles.
Provide outstanding service to Garden staff, guests, vendors, and volunteers.
Maintain organized staging areas and comply with fire code.
