Job summary

The Marzetti Company in Kentucky is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for the 1st shift on weekends (Friday to Sunday, 5:00am–5:00pm). Pay ranges from $33.69 to $43.76 per hour.

You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and participate in projects to improve overall equipment efficiency on production lines. Working with operators and management, you will disassemble and assemble equipment, service packaging lines, and support process

Qualifications

• 2 year mechanical and electrical degree preferred or 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience in an industrial environment handling sanitizing chemicals and non-toxic food products.
• Forklift and pallet jack operation training helpful.
• Must be able to read instruction sheets and comprehend cleaning chemicals; strong mechanical aptitude.
• Reading schematics is beneficial and necessary for troubleshooting.
• Ability to work cooperatively with a team and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance to keep equipment efficiency high.
• Knowledge of SAP or similar CMMS is preferred.
• Disassemble/assemble equipment for installation and repairs.
• Assist operators with mechanical and electrical tasks to keep lines running.
• Maintain motors, conveyors, and packaging equipment.
• Troubleshoot sensors, photocells, and switches to prevent downtime.
• Perform routine lubrication, belt changes, and gasket replacements.
• Identify potential issues before they cause hazards or downtime.
