Job summary

The Marzetti Company is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Technician for our Kentucky plant in Horse Cave. This 2nd shift role (Mon-Thu, 5:00pm–5:00am) pays $29.06-$37.74/hour and focuses on maintenance and repair of plant machinery, grounds, buildings and equipment under minimal supervision.

Responsibilities include inspecting and maintaining electrical/mechanical systems, installing or relocating equipment, performing repairs to buildings, welding (TIG) as needed, and supporting safety,

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability in a food manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
• Must obtain Industrial Truck and Lift certification and maintain safety standards.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair plant machinery, grounds, buildings and equipment.
• Inspect and service electrical/mechanical systems and install/relocate equipment.
• Perform repairs to boilers and crane systems; TIG welding as needed.
• Support safety, quality programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
