The Marzetti Company in Kentucky is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift (5:00pm-5:00am). Pay ranges from $29.06 to $37.74 per hour and includes responsibilities on packaging lines and related equipment.

You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, and support operators to keep production running smoothly. A 2-year degree or 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience is preferred; SAP familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2-year mechanical and electrical degree preferred or 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience in industrial environments handling sanitizing chemicals and non-toxic food products desired.
• Training in forklift and pallet jack operation helpful.
• Must be able to read and comprehend instruction sheets; strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read schematics and work with a team.

Responsabilités

• Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance to maintain equipment efficiency.
• Knowledge of Computer Maintenance Management Systems (SAP preferred).
• Disassemble and assemble equipment for new installation and repair existing equipment.
• Assist operators in mechanical and electrical capacities to ensure production lines remain operational.
• Service and maintain equipment including motors, conveying systems, transmission systems, and production related equipment.
• Use human machine interfaces to ensure equipment is operating on center lines.
• Convert production lines to produce various products of different sizes and materials.
• Troubleshoot glue and adhesive systems on packaging equipment.
• Wire 120 to 240-volt single phase and 480-volt three phase circuitry.
• Familiarity with boiler operations and industrial maintenance equipment.
• Provide maintenance support to sustain continuous production on the Food Service line.
• Lubricate machinery, change drive belts and timing belts as needed.
• Identify problems before they cause hazards or downtime when possible.
• Maintain water towers and test water; operate air compressor and change filters.
• Change packing and gaskets in pumps; operate roof heaters and air conditioners.
