Job summary

The Marzetti Company in Kentucky is hiring for a 2nd shift maintenance role on weekends (Friday–Sunday, 5:00pm–5:00am). Youll perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and assist production to maximize line uptime.

Responsibilities include servicing conveyors, motors, and packaging equipment, reading schematics, and supporting process improvements with the operations team. SAP familiarity is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 year mechanical and electrical degree preferred or 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience in an industrial environment handling sanitizing chemicals and non-toxic food products desired.
• Forklift and pallet jack training is helpful.
• Ability to read instruction sheets for cleaning chemicals; strong mechanical aptitude a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to keep equipment efficient.
• Assist in maintenance of conveyors, motors, and packaging systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on production lines.
• Support process improvements with operators and management.
