Job summary

Almost Family – Roseburg is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide compassionate in-home and community support for individuals with I/DD, helping them maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life.

This weekend coverage role offers engaging work, paid training, and a supportive team. You’ll assist with ADLs, transportation, and community activities, while following care plans and documenting care.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old
• 1+ year experience with I/DD
• Weekend availability (Sat/Sun)
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
• Able to pass a criminal background check

Responsibilities

• Provide attendant and relief care to clients
• Help clients engage in community activities
• Assist with ADLs and daily tasks
• Provide transportation to appointments and events
• Follow care plans and maintain accurate documentation
• Support independence and quality of life for clients
