Almost Family – Roseburg is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for weekend coverage in Roseburg, OR. The role includes attendant care, transport, and community engagement to support individuals with I/DD in achieving independence and quality of life.

We offer paid training, flexible scheduling, and a supportive team dedicated to compassionate care. Weekend availability is required, and driver’s license with insurance is preferred.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old.
• 1+ year experience supporting someone with I/DD (professionally or personally).
• Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
• Valid driver’s license, active auto insurance, and reliable vehicle.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide attendant care and relief care.
• Help clients engage in community activities.
• Transport clients to medical appointments and errands.
• Assist with household tasks and home management.
• Encourage life skills and independence.
• Follow care plans and maintain accurate documentation.
• Support the mission of independence and quality of life.
