Job summary

Almost Family in Bend, Oregon seeks a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to start part-time with potential for full-time. You’ll provide attendant care, relief care, and help clients engage in community activities.

You’ll support activities of daily living, transportation to appointments, and home management while following individual care plans and documenting progress. We offer flexible schedules, paid training, $22–$24 per hour, biweekly pay, and a team that values Independence, Dignity, and

Qualifications

• Experience: 1+ year supporting someone with I/DD (professional or personal)
• 18+ years old
• Able to pass a criminal background check
• CPR/First Aid Certification obtainable upon hire
• Lift up to 50 LBS
• Comfort with diverse home environments

Responsibilities

• Provide attendant care and relief care and help clients engage in community activities
• Support Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and transportation to medical appointments and errands
• Assist with household tasks and home management
• Encourage life skills and independence
• Promote positive self-esteem and meaningful relationships
• Follow care plans and maintain accurate documentation
• Support the program's mission of helping individuals reach their fullest potential
