Almost Family – Roseburg is seeking an Overnight Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Roseburg, OR to provide compassionate care and support independence. You will assist with ADLs, transportation, and community activities in a home-like setting.

The role emphasizes reliability, patient engagement, and documentation, with a focus on dignity and quality of life for individuals with I/DD. A team-oriented and flexible schedule is valued.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old.
• 1+ year supporting someone with I/DD (professionally or personally).
• Be able to work at least 1 weekend day.
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable.
• Able to maintain strict confidentiality.
• A team player who also thrives working independently.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle (not needed if not required for your client).

Responsibilities

• Provide attendant care and relief care.
• Help clients engage in community activities and events.
• Support Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and address needs.
• Provide transportation for medical appointments, errands, and outings.
• Assist with household tasks and home management.
• Encourage life skills and independence.
• Follow care plans and maintain accurate documentation.
