Job summary

Almost Family is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Oregon for part-time hours with potential to transition to full-time. You will provide attendant care, relief care, DSA, and help clients engage in community activities, including social events, shopping, and volunteer work.

Requirements include 18+ and 1+ year experience with I/DD, valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and CPR/First Aid certification (resources provided).

Qualifications

• 18+ years old
• 1+ year supporting someone with I/DD (professional or personal)
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable
• Able to maintain strict confidentiality
• Team player who can also work independently
• Shifts may include days, evenings, weekends, and overnights

Responsibilities

• Provide attendant care and relief care to clients
• Transport clients to medical appointments, errands, and community outings
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and home management
• Encourage life skills and independence
• Promote positive self-esteem and relationships
• Follow care plans and maintain documentation
• Support the mission of helping individuals live their fullest lives
