Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc is seeking a hands-on dock operations teammate to support loading and unloading at our facility. You will coordinate trailer movements, monitor dock conditions, and ensure safety standards while delivering excellent service to internal teams and customers.

You should have warehouse experience, be comfortable outdoors in all weather, and proficient with Office 365 and Google Suite. This role emphasizes teamwork and practical problem solving to keep goods moving.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Ability to coordinate dock or yard activities in a fast-paced operation.
• Knowledge of trailer docking, release procedures, and trailer anatomy.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Follow defined processes, safety standards and escalation protocols.
• Strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Champion operation safety and support dock equipment.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for loading and unloading dock activities.
• Manage trailer docking, release, and yard flow.
• Monitor dock conditions and escalate unsafe conditions.
• Collaborate with site operations, transportation, yard services, and customers.
• Communicate professionally with stakeholders.
• Ensure dock activities align with guidelines and safety standards.
• Support dock and yard organization per 7S standards.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify risks and delays.
• Use Office tools to track activity and document issues.
• Provide coverage to site leadership.
