Job summary

Target Community Educational Services, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional for the Residential/Apartment Program to assist in supervision and training of residents and in operating the group home.

Requirements include a minimum high school diploma and a preference for experience with individuals with developmental disabilities; a driving record must be excellent. This position may require evenings or weekends and is full-time or part-time based on coverage needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Excellent driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct services and training to residents.
• Assist with daily personal care and grooming.
• Assist in implementing ADL programs and leisure activities.
• Maintain logs and document data in CMS/CIMS as required.
• Assist with arranging medical, dental, and psychological appointments.
• Communicate instructions clearly to clients.
