Job summary

Anchor Home in Baltimore County, Maryland, is seeking a compassionate part-time caregiver to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This weekend shift runs Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and you will assist the Delegating Nurse and follow the Plan of Care.

Responsibilities include prioritizing client needs, documenting actions, maintaining comfort, and communicating concerns.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or College Degree.
• Drivers License and Reliable Transportation.
• Reliable Mobile Communication Device.
• Active Certifications/Licenses: CMT License, First Aid/CPR
• Motivated and passionate to work with clients that have intellectual/developmental disabilities.
• Experience with behavioral plans is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Delegating Nurse in prioritizing client’s needs and responding appropriately to those needs.
• Follow the Plan of Care as written by the Delegating Nurse.
• Perform all procedures safely.
• Documents actions and client response to care provided.
• Actively listen to any concerns expressed by the client.
• Maintain client’s comfort and well-being.
