Job summary

JARC Florida is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals to assist adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a structured group home setting. Weekend shifts are required, with paid training and a sign-on bonus.

We welcome applicants with caregiving experience and offer opportunities to grow in human services. The role emphasizes building meaningful relationships and maintaining a safe, supportive home for residents.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (required).
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
• Experience in caregiving or human services preferred.
• HHA or CNA certification is a plus.
• Ability to lift/move 10–15 lbs and assist in emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with daily living skills including personal care, hygiene, cooking, and housekeeping.
• Assist residents with independence, life skills, and social skills.
• Build positive relationships and support emotional well-being.
• Help with medication administration (training provided).
• Support Judaic programming and maintain agency policies.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive home environment.
