Job summary

Embracelifeservices seeks a Direct Support Professional to provide compassionate care in a group-home setting. The role includes personal care, supporting daily activities, and facilitating inclusive activities for residents with developmental disabilities.

The position offers morning/evening/night shifts across weekdays and weekends, with 24/7-365 care needs. Arizona fingerprint clearance and required certifications are part of the onboarding process.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Able to obtain AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• CPR/First Aid, Article 9, and Prevention and Support certifications required.
• Experience working with individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to residents per individualized plans.
• Promote independence, dignity, and inclusive environment.
• Assist with meals, hygiene, and mobility as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation of activities, progress, and incidents.
• Communicate with supervisors, families, and healthcare providers.
