Job summary

Friendship Community Care in Jacksonville, AR is seeking a Part-Time Direct Support Professional for weekend day shifts (Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM) to work with clients in home and community settings.

You will assist with basic living skills, transportation, documentation, and adherence to plans of care while maintaining confidentiality and safety in a HIPAA-compliant environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Arkansas driver's license required.
• Ability to read, write and understand basic instructions.
• Experience in human services or with developmentally disabled individuals preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in daily living skills (showers, dressing, meals, budgeting).
• Provide transportation to activities/appointments with a valid license.
• Complete documentation and maintain records per policy and HIPAA.
• Support plan of care and monitor health, safety, and security priorities.
• Maintain confidentiality and participate in training and compliance steps.
