Job summary

Rocky Mountain Care - The Lodge in Heber City, UT is seeking a part-time dietary cook to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday, 6a-7p) in our Culinary Services department. The role involves preparing meals per the menu, operating food preparation equipment, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.

Qualifications include being 18 years or older, a current Food Handler Permit, and preference for 1 year of dietary/food service experience in healthcare settings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred
• Current/Active Food Handlers Permit
• Must be 18 years old
• One year dietary/food service experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related medical facility preferred (but not necessary)

Responsibilities

• Prepares food for meal service according to the menu.
• Operates institutional food preparation equipment according to the manufacturer and supervisory direction.
• Follows proper cleaning and preventative maintenance schedules.
• Caters to resident food allergies and preferences.
• Attend in-service education programs as assigned.
• Empties trash containers.
• Performs cleaning tasks as scheduled.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
