Qualifications

• Follows diet orders and NPO diet orders.
• Delivers trays to patients/residents on halls.
• Uses proper food handling processes, procedures and policies.
• Records temperatures for freezer and walk-in coolers as required.
• Attends continuing education as needed to maintain license/certification.

Responsibilities

• Assists cook in preparing meals, desserts and snacks for patients/residents.
• Delivers trays to patients/residents on halls and serves meals in dining area.
• Prepares between-meal nourishments and records substitutions per guidelines.
• Follows infection control policies and proper sanitation procedures.
• Cleans dining and kitchen areas after meals and maintains equipment.
