Job summary

PruittHealth in Atlanta, GA is seeking a FT Dietary Aide HCC to assist with meal preparation, tray delivery, and maintaining clean dining and kitchen areas.

Follow established procedures for food handling, serving, and sanitation, and support the Dietitian/Dietary Manager to ensure patient meals meet guidelines.

On-the-job training is provided; prior food service experience is preferred. We value a friendly, caring attitude and clear communication with patients and staff.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Previous food service experience in healthcare is a plus.
• Ability to follow infection control policies and safety procedures.
• Good communication with patients and family members.

Responsibilities

• Assist cook with meal preparation, including salads and desserts.
• Deliver trays to patients/residents on their floors.
• Serve and deliver meals to patients in dining areas; monitor meal conditions.
• Prepare between-meal nourishments (snacks, sandwiches) per guidelines.
• Record menu substitutions per procedural guidelines.
• Follow procedures for serving partner meals as required.
• Communicate with patients, families, and staff with a warm, friendly demeanor.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining and kitchen areas; follow cleaning schedules.
