Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum education: functional literacy.
• Experience: minimum 1 year in institutional food service is preferred.
• Knowledge of safety, sanitation and infection control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist cook in meal preparation and tray line service.
• Follow diet orders and serve nourishments per guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining and kitchen areas and equipment.
• Record temperatures and monitor food temperatures as required.
• Assist with storage, portioning and distribution of meals.
• Adhere to state and federal regulations and dietary restrictions.
