Responsibilities

• Assist cook in preparing meals, desserts and snacks for patients/residents; e.g. salads and desserts.
• Uses proper food handling processes, procedures and policies.
• Delivers trays to patients/residents on halls.
• Delivers and serves meals to patients/residents in dining area; food and beverages.
• Prepares between-meal nourishments and serves per guidelines.
• Offers menu substitutions and records them per guidelines.
• Follows procedures for serving partner meals.
• Communicates with patients/residents/clients and family members with a warm, friendly greeting and helpful demeanor; answers questions professionally.
