Job summary

CareCore at Willowood is seeking a Weekend Day Shift Nurse Supervisor who will oversee clinical operations on weekend shifts and lead the nursing team to deliver compassionate, high-quality resident care in a skilled nursing setting.

You will supervise staff, manage admissions/discharges, and coordinate with physicians and families while ensuring regulatory compliance and thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio LPN or RN license in good standing.
• Prior long-term care or skilled nursing experience is required.
• Supervisory or charge nurse experience is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication and critical thinking skills are essential.
• Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support nursing staff throughout the shift.
• Ensure quality resident care and timely response to resident needs.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and changes in resident condition.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Monitor documentation for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Respond to clinical emergencies and provide leadership during urgent situations.
• Serve as the clinical resource and decision-maker for the nursing team.
• Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment.
