Job summary

Intermountain Health operates Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, CO, seeking a CT Technologist for our Weekend Program. The role includes maintaining ARRT/CT credentials, patient prep, image review, and adherence to safety standards. 36-hour weekly schedule with weekend differential.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) credential upon hire, CT technologist certification preferred for CT
• BLS certification within 60 days, required
• State licensure as applicable, upon hire, required
• IV competency within 90 days, required
• 3+ years of CT technologist experience (preferred)
• Fluoroscopy certification preferred for Colorado positions

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT competency and operate CT equipment and information systems
• Ensure proper patient identification and exam preparation
• Perform exams per department protocol
• Review and evaluate CT images for quality and accuracy
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain patient safety
• Complete studies within time expectations without compromising care
• Provide patient education and address patient/family concerns
• Coordinate care and communicate with other providers
• Stay updated on CT tech advancements and participate in continuing education
• Instruct students and other radiology staff on protocols and positioning
