Qualifications

• ARRT (R) upon hire required.
• ARRT (R)(CT) preferred.
• BLS within 60 days required.
• State licensure upon hire required.
• IV competency within 90 days required.
• Colorado: fluoroscopy certification preferred.
• 1–2 years CT experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• Level II: current ARRT CT registration; 3+ years CT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT competency and operate CT equipment.
• Ensure proper patient identification, order verification, and patient preparation.
• Perform exams per department protocol.
• Review images for quality, clarity, and accuracy.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment.
• Provide patient education and comfort, address concerns.
• Coordinate patient care and communicate with care team.
• Stay updated with CT technology through continuing education.
