Qualifications

• ARRT CT registration required upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 60 days.
• Licensure in state of practice upon hire.
• IV competency within 90 days.
• Fluoroscopy certification preferred for Colorado facilities.
• 1–2 years CT experience in hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT competency in all clinical and technical functions.
• Operate CT equipment and information systems to produce quality images.
• Ensure proper patient identification and prepare patient for exams.
• Perform exams per department protocol.
• Review images for quality and accuracy.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment.
• Complete studies within department timelines without compromising care.
• Provide patient education and address concerns.
• Coordinate patient care and communicate with other care providers.
• Stay updated with CT technology through continuing education and training.
• Instruct students and other radiology staff in protocols.
