Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a CT Technologist to join the Weekend Program at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, CO. The role involves operating CT equipment, ensuring patient safety, and delivering high-quality imaging while adhering to department protocols.

This position offers a 36-hour workweek and a $5.00/hour weekend differential for Saturdays and Sundays. Qualified candidates will have ARRT certification, BLS, state licensure, and IV competency.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification on hire is required.
• BLS certification within 60 days is required.
• State licensure in practice state is required on hire.
• IV competency within 90 days is required.
• For Colorado hires, fluoroscopy certification is preferred.
• 1–2 years CT hospital experience is preferred for Level I.
• 3+ years CT experience is preferred for Level II.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT competency in clinical and technical functions.
• Operate CT equipment and related information systems to produce quality images.
• Ensure proper patient identification and exam preparation.
• Perform exams per department protocol.
• Review images for quality and anatomical accuracy.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain patient safety.
• Complete studies within time limits without compromising care.
• Provide patient education and address concerns.
• Coordinate patient care and communicate with other providers.
• Stay updated with CT technology through continuing education.
• Assist and instruct students and other radiology staff.
