Intermountain Health’s Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, Colorado, seeks CT Technologists for a weekend program with a $5/hour differential on Saturdays and Sundays. This role requires ARRT certification and CT experience, with BLS and state licensure on hire.

The position offers a 36-hour weekly schedule in a supportive hospital setting. Responsibilities include maintaining ARRT competency, operating CT equipment, ensuring patient safety, and coordinating care with other providers.

Qualifications

• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R) on hire
• Certified CT Technologist (CT) preferred
• BLS within 60 days, required
• Licensure in state of practice upon hire, required
• IV competency within 90 days, required
• For Colorado state caregivers, fluoroscopy certification preferred
• 3 years CT experience in hospital setting preferred for Level II

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT competency in all clinical and technical functions
• Operate CT equipment and related information systems to produce quality images
• Ensure proper patient identification, order verification, and exam preparation
• Perform exams per department protocol
• Review images for quality and accuracy, ensure necessary anatomy is captured
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment
• Complete studies within time limits without compromising care or quality
• Provide patient education and comfort, address concerns
• Coordinate patient care and communicate with other care providers
• Stay updated with CT technology through continuing education
• Instruct students and other radiology staff on protocols and equipment
