Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, North Carolina is seeking a CT Technologist for the Advocate Health Union - CT site. This part-time position (24 hours per week) involves CT imaging, verifying orders, preparing patients, and assisting radiologists during exams.

ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine with ARRT CT registry within one year, BLS required. Weekend evenings include Saturday and Sunday shifts; a sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and ARRT CT registry within 1 year of hire.
• BLS required.
• Graduate of ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine program.

Responsibilities

• Assist radiologists during CT exams and verify orders with two patient identifiers.
• Prepare patients for procedures with clear explanations and document appropriately.
• Review patient history and correlate with tests and imaging results.
• Operate CT equipment and maintain sterile technique and radiation safety protocols.
• Provide basic patient care and respond to emergencies.
• Document contrast administration and ensure proper MAR entries.
