Job summary

Advocate Health in Kannapolis seeks a CT Technologist I to perform CT procedures in alignment with departmental protocols. You will operate CT scanners and related equipment, ensure patient safety, document procedures, and support radiologists throughout exams.

The role includes weekend night shifts (Fri-Sun, 7p-7:30a) and requires ARRT/CT registry with BLS. A sign-on bonus is offered for eligible candidates and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and ARRT CT registry within 1 year of hire; BLS required.
• Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development and age-appropriate care.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders with radiologist before exam.
• Identify patient and prepare with explanations for procedures.
• Review patient history and EMR to obtain clinical context.
• Operate CT scanner and administer IV contrast per protocol.
• Maintain radiation safety and sterile technique during procedures.
• Assist in invasive procedures and patient care during scans.
