Job summary

Advocate Health in North Carolina seeks a CT Technologist to verify orders, prepare patients, and perform CT scans with radiologist assistance. You will document procedures and ensure patient safety according to departmental policies.

The role requires ARRT CT certification, BLS, and the ability to work a 11am-9:30pm schedule Tuesday-Friday in a 40-hour week. Eligible for a sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine; advanced ARRT CT within 1 year.
• Proficiency in patient positioning, contrast administration, and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Examines requests and verifies orders, refers to Radiologist for discrepancies.
• Identify and assist patients, explain procedures, and document in worksheets.
• Interview patients, review EMR for clinical history and correlate results.
• Perform CT scanning from start to finish, maintain sterile technique, and assist in invasive procedures.
• Operate radiology computer systems, document contrast administration, and ensure safety standards.
