Job summary

Atrium Health Mountain Island Emergency Department in Charlotte is hiring a CT Technologist I to perform CT procedures according to department protocols. You will operate CT scanners and related equipment with proficiency, including IV contrast administration and patient monitoring.

The role includes weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday, 7:00am - 7:30pm) and a sign-on bonus for eligible candidates. ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine must be obtained within one year of

Qualifications

• Graduate of ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and ARRT CT eligibility within one year of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders with radiologist before exams.
• Identify patients and explain procedures clearly.
• Access EMR to obtain medical history and correlate results.
• Perform CT scanning from start to finish and review images.
• Administer IV contrast per protocol and document usage.
• Maintain sterile technique and safety standards.
