Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a CT Technologist to maintain ARRT competency, operate CT equipment, and ensure safe, quality imaging. You will verify patient identity, prep for exams, and perform studies per protocol while upholding radiation safety.

Collaboration with care teams and ongoing education are required. 3+ years CT experience in a hospital setting is preferred; ARRT (R) CT registration is required at hire, with BLS annually updated.

Qualifications

• ARRT CT (R) certification required at hire
• BLS certification within 60 days, required
• Licensure in state of practice at hire, required
• IV competency within 90 days, required
• 3+ years CT experience in hospital setting preferred
• Fluoroscopy certification preferred for Colorado postings

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT competency in all clinical and technical functions
• Operate CT equipment and information systems to produce quality images
• Ensure proper patient identification and prepare patient for exam
• Perform exams per department protocol
• Review and evaluate images for quality and accuracy
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment
• Complete studies within time limitations without compromising care
• Provide patient education and address concerns
• Coordinate patient care and communicate with other providers
• Stay updated with CT technology through continuing education
• Instruct students and other technologists in protocols and equipment
