Intermountain HealthCare is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostically precise CT scans and uphold ARRT proficiency. The role emphasizes patient prep, data accuracy, and strict radiation safety. You will operate CT systems, verify orders, and educate patients while collaborating with the clinical team.

The position features a full-time schedule with weekend coverage and a focus on delivering high-quality imaging and care in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R)(CT) certification upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) within 60 days.
• IV competency within 90 days.
• Relevant state licensure as applicable upon hire.
• Facility-specific certifications may be required.

Responsabilités

• Maintains ARRT competency in clinical and technical functions.
• Operates CT equipment and related information systems to produce quality images.
• Prepares patients, verifies orders, and ensures proper identification.
• Performs exams per department protocol.
• Reviews images for quality and determines necessary anatomical structures.
• Adheres to radiation safety guidelines and maintains a safe environment.
• Documents procedures and assists with patient education as needed.
• Coordinates patient care and communicates pertinent information to other providers.
