Atrium Health at CMC Main is seeking an experienced full-time Advance Practice Provider for weekend coverage in the Cardiothoracic Surgery Intensive Care Unit. The APP will manage complex post-op cardiac surgery patients, including CABG, valve replacements, heart transplant, and mechanical support devices, with supervision by CT-ICU intensivists.

Eligible candidates are ACNPs or PAs with CT-ICU or post-grad ICU experience, NP/PA certification, BLS/ACLS, and NC licensure within 60 days of hire.

Competenze

• Experience in a cardiothoracic ICU as an APP is required.
• Board-certified ACNP or PA with approved certs.
• Post-graduate ICU fellowship or CT-ICU experience.
• NC licensure within 60 days of hire.
• Strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills.

Mansioni

• Weekend days or weekend nights; shifts primarily on weekends.
• Daily rounding and management of complex post-op cardiac surgery patients.
• Interpret pulmonary artery data and manage chest tubes.
• Manage mechanical support devices including VADs/ECMO/IABPs.
• Complete admission notes, progress notes and billing.
