271 Atrium Health Specialty Network, Inc. in Charlotte, NC is hiring a Cardiac ICU Advanced Practice Provider (APP) — NP or PA — for 24 hours per week on a rotating 13-hour shift schedule.

The role focuses on advanced heart failure, cardiogenic shock, post-MI complications, and temporary mechanical circulatory support (ECMO/Impella/IABP). Requires MSN/MPAS, NC licensure, and national certification; BLS/ACLS are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) or Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) required; active NC NP/PA license.
• National certification (ACNP/AGACNP or NCCPA) and BLS/ACLS required.
• 2–3 years in cardiac critical care or CVICU preferred; teaching hospital experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient management and advanced assessment for critically ill cardiac patients.
• Manage hemodynamics, vasoactive medications, inotropes, and mechanical support devices.
• Coordinate transitions of care and participate in education, protocol development, and research.
