Job summary

Atrium Health at CMC Main is seeking an experienced full-time Advanced Practice Provider with CT-ICU expertise for post-op cardiac care. The role involves 24/7 coverage, 13-hour shifts, and supervision of APP fellows and nursing staff.

Requirements include ACNP/PA board certification, a Master's or DNP, and NC licensure within 60 days. Prior CT-ICU or post-grad ICU fellowship is preferred, with proficiency in central/arterial lines and hemodynamic management.

Qualifications

• Board-certified ACNP or PA with CT-ICU experience.
• Post-graduate ICU fellowship or CT-ICU experience required.
• ACNP/PA licensure and NC license within 60 days of hire.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Daily rounding and management of complex post-op cardiac surgery patients.
• Admission notes, daily progress notes, and billing.
• Interpretation of pulmonary artery data; manage chest tubes.
• Manage mechanical support devices including VADs, ECMO, IABPs.
