Job summary

Freedom Village of Holland Michigan is seeking a friendly Concierge for weekend shifts, with Saturdays and Sundays 10am-6pm. The role involves managing multi-line calls, greeting residents and visitors, and handling light clerical tasks in a welcoming community setting.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of customer service experience, HS diploma, and basic typing with MS Office skills. The position is part-time, in-person, with benefits and a friendly work environment.

Qualifications

• High School graduate preferred. Ability to communicate efficiently in English using proper grammar in a pleasant manner.
• Typing and experience with Microsoft Office software.
• Must be able to handle a multiplicity of routine tasks, following specific instructions carefully and general instructions completely.

Responsibilities

• Answer and transfer all incoming calls in a courteous and professional manner.
• Serve as receptionist and greet residents, staff, guests and vendors.
• Distribute packages, business mail and magazines; maintain visitor sign-in logs.
• Monitor security cameras and fire alarm board (where applicable) and maintain security for entries accessible to the public.
• Prepare maintenance work orders and correspondence using computer software.
• Data entry of general resident information.
