Job summary

Freedom Village Holland is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to keep apartments and common areas clean while supporting a safe and welcoming environment for residents. This full-time, 1st shift role requires following supervisor instructions and prioritizing tasks to maintain high standards of cleanliness.

Responsibilities include vacuuming, bathroom/kitchen cleaning, hallway upkeep, equipment care, and attending training sessions.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English.
• Strong communication skills.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred (not required).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and neatness of assigned apartments and common areas.
• Support a safe, welcoming, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Follow housekeeping priorities and instructions from supervisor.
• Perform general housekeeping in apartments: vacuuming, bathroom/kitchen cleaning, dusting.
• Clean hallways and common areas as directed.
• Complete tasks in priority order set by supervisor.
• Maintain equipment and supplies in proper condition.
• Attend in-service training and education sessions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Maintain resident confidentiality at all times.
